Since 2000, there have been more than 85 fatal fires at American colleges and universities. Other nonfatal, but nonetheless dangerous, fire-related injuries are suffered by students and staff at institutions of higher education each year.

IAEM Scholarship Program The International Association of Emergency Managers established the IAEM Scholarship Program to nurture, promote and develop disaster preparedness and resistance by furthering the education of students studying the field of emergency management, disaster management or a related program.
