We are supporting an Advanced Disaster Life Support (ADLS) class June 18 and 19. As a part of day 2 of the course they have a mass casualty exercise for the students to practice their new clinical assessment skills.
We are looking for 15-20 volunteers to act as patients for the exercise. The volunteers would be moulaged (made up with fake injuries) which helps make the exercise more realistic for the students. Volunteers would need to be at Northwest Hospital from 11am to 4pm on June 19th.
This would be a terrific opportunity for students in Allied Health or in the HSEM programs to participate in an exercise.
Please contact Jennifer Lord if you’re interested in volunteering.
