The Puget Sound CSCMP Roundtable is hosting our 4th annual State of Logistics update report with Sean Monahan and a panel of food logistics and safety players in the Pacific Northwest. This event is a perennial favorite of supply chain professionals; not only will you gain useful insights into supply chain economics and food logistics and safety, you will also enjoy meeting and networking with colleagues – new and old.
Our keynote speaker, Sean Monahan, is a partner and board member at A.T. Kearney who is the lead author of the highly regarded Annual State of Logistics Report for CSCMP.
In addition to Sean’s presentation, we have exciting presentations this year from:
• The WA State Catastrophic Incident Planning Team – This team is responsible for preparing the emergency response and recovery plan when a major earthquake, tsunami or volcano eruption (after all, we are right in the Cascadia subduction zone). The team will present their framework and solicit participation from professional supply chain folks in forthcoming workshops to help define the plan.
• SafetyChain Software – The leading provider of food safety and quality management solutions in the marketplace.
• BlueGrace Logistics – An innovator in application of advanced technologies to the logistics of fresh food and other complex commodities.
• Derik Andreoli, PhD – The oil and fuel expert and columnist for Logistics Management magazine. Derik will update us with his unique insights into the supply and demand of oil and fuels.
