Securing the Supply Chain Forum was a Success


The Centers of Excellence for Homeland Security & Emergency Management and Global Trade & Supply Chain Management want to thank you for attending the 2nd annual forum!

The Securing the Supply Chain Forum at Highline College was a great success. Dr. Jack Bermingham, President of Highline College, opened the Security the Supply Chain Forum. He shared about Highline College being the most diverse college in Washington with over 140 languages being spoken on campus. He said that supply chain has a big future at the college as the industry connects and creates a pipeline to education and careers.

Dr. Meg Ryan, Director for the Center of Excellence – Global Trade & Supply Chain Management, explained the relevance of supply chain and how her Center has created a synergy with the Center of Excellence – Homeland Security Emergency Management.

Amelia Phillips the Cybersecurity faculty and Program Director at Highline provided a luncheon keynote on Cybersecurity and Global Trade – Navigating the Changing Landscape. The Foster School of Business hosted a CIBER networking event at the end of the day.
