Purpose: To build awareness, capture successful regional practices of collaboration with faculty, students and researchers working with emergency management practitioners as well as to identify untapped opportunities.

Desired outcome: To support regional community connection and collaboration as well as create a dynamic regional specific after action report to identify academic and broader community resources, capabilities and expertise to support on-going regional academic and practitioner partnership.

FEMA Region X Emergency Management and Homeland Security Professional and Academics,

You are cordially invited to participate in a dynamic dialogue highlighting successful regional collaborations between our community’s practitioners and academics. We will actively explore stakeholders, challenges and possible untapped opportunities for future coordination. Our desired outcome is to support sustained regional community connections, encourage collaboration and create a regional guidebook to facilitate matching capabilities and expertise to needs.

We will be meeting on Tuesday, April 3rd from 10:00 AM-2:30PM. Space is limited, so please confirm your seat as soon as possible. Your participation in this event is important and to that end, we have arranged for virtual participation to accommodate those who cannot make it in person or register after the physical space has filled up. After reserving your virtual ticket, you will be sent log-in and participation information approximately 1 week prior to the event. We will also have participation hubs in Portland and Boise.
